The resort offers coach transfers between Urangan Boat Harbour and Hervey Bay Airport. These transfers must be pre-booked in conjunction with an accommodation reservation at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

By Air

Kingfisher Bay Resort provides coach transfers from Hervey Bay/Fraser Coast Airport to the Urangan boat harbour (See pricing table above).

Virgin and Jetstar Airlines operate direct flights from Sydney to the Fraser Coast. Filghts from Melbourne are also available.

Quantas offer direct flights from Brisbane to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) airport. They also offer filghts from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

By Rail

From Brisbane, take the Tilt Train for a comfortable four hour journey to Maryborough West Station. Enjoy panoramic views of the passing countryside, as well as onboard entertainment and a range of meal and snack options. On arrival at Maryborough West, the coach connection will transfer you to Urangan Harbour, where your Kingfisher Bay launch will depart.
Both the Tilt Train and the traditional Sunlander allow access to Fraser Island from the north. Arrival times and styles of travel vary between trains, so visit www.traveltrain.com.au for more information.

By Coach

Daily shuttle transfers to / from Brisbane with Suntours. Pick-up and drop offs at Roma Street Transit Centre and Brisbane Airports. Departing from Brisbane daily from 10.30am or 1.30pm and returning from Hervey Bay to Brisbane at 8.30am. The shuttle schedule connects with relevant catamaran transfers to/from Kingfisher Bay Resort.
Transfers can only be booked in conjunction with accommodation
